Back to school after so many years

Last Thursday had my first lesson "Introduction to C++ Programming".

Prior that, my team lead and I were at the Data Centre to resolve a faulty router, luckily was not late for class. This is the second visit this week with another migration this Sunday morning, which would be the third time.

The road heading towards SIM is very jammed as most are heading home or going classes. On the bus saw runners from the nearby Maju camp having an evening run. It brought back memories when I could do a slow but continuous 5km jog. Now in the work force, chasing buses is the only sprinting I do LOL. The ability to squeeze on the buses and trains is also a skill.

Those time, we could hear commanders shouting to those "walkers"; WALK SOME MORE, WALK SOME MORE!" So those walkers would jog another 100ms before walking again and hear that familiar voice again beckoning them to run again.

Class was at 730pm reached there earlier. The lecture hall is around 1/3 the size of lecture halls in Polys. Surprisingly, not all the students are working full time as I assumed, as there were some students in berms and not carrying any bags. There was also quite a number of girls and happened to be in the same class as my campmate Benson. Sitting beside me is an ASK, he was using Mac Book Air, it was freaking slim. Even my wallet is thick than the Air when closed.

The lecturer is an Indian guy with a very comical look. Benson mentioned he looked like Mr Bean. The lesson was not really boring as compared to poly. Guessed the lecturer used real-life examples and the audience are more matured and able to pickup fast. Class ended at 10pm and it started to rain. The bus-stop is very crowded. Reached home at 11pm.
